The Bernese light artist Marco Kappert first started creating 3D projection mapping shows back in 2012. When he was approached by Glade festival UK to create custom content for 2 DJ stages. “The Meteor Stage”, A stage shaped like an ufo and “The Pyromid Stage” a 4 sided pyramid that was projection mapped on every side. 2012 proved to be a fruitful year for Marco and his (at the time) new company “Martanigraphics”, as he continued to create content for the likes of the Secret garden party festival, Shambala festival and even club DC10 in Ibiza. As the years past Marco focus his skills on creating complete projection mapping shows instead of content for vi’ing, This allowed Martanigraphics to grow as he created shows for Rejenr8 Productions (UK), Team Reaktor (CH), VIC School (UK), Resonante AV (UK) and Campagne Oberried Belp (CH) to name a few. In 2015 Marco Kappert worked along side Holepole productions to create “Fänschter lose”a month long concert, where artists preformed from the widows as the facade of the building was projection mapped. 2015 also saw the collaboration between Martanigraphics and MAG design for the first “BEAM sessions” a monthly projection mapping event in Bern that ran until summer 2016. 2016 also saw the first “Murten light Festival” where Martanigraphics created a show on the Berntor (The gate way to Murten), In 2017 Marco returned to Murten to produce 2 separate projection mapping shows over 5 locations, “L:ichtsrasse” and “Zweisprachigkeit in einem kalligramm” where he worked with the children of Fribourg to create a show they could call their own. Later this year Marco will be attending the Mittsommerfestival (Lenk) where he will light up the surrounding forrest and the Simmen Falls.
